The total trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom for the period from April 2024 to March 2025 amounted to £99 million, according to the Trade and Investment Bulletin published by the UK Department for Business and Trade on Friday.

According to the report, this figure is 33.8% or £25 million higher in current prices compared to the four quarters ending in the first quarter of 2024.

During the reporting period, UK exports to Turkmenistan reached £73 million, an increase of 25.9% or £15 million compared to the same period in 2024.

Imports from Turkmenistan to the UK rose by 62.5% over the same period, amounting to £26 million, which is £10 million more compared to the corresponding period of 2024.

Among the main product groups exported from the UK to Turkmenistan are industrial machinery, aircraft, and scientific instruments. The key product categories imported by the UK from Turkmenistan include inorganic chemicals, mechanical generators, metal ores, and scrap.
