On July 16–17, 2026, Tbilisi hosted the Turkmen–Georgian Business Forum and a multisector exhibition of Turkmen products and services as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia. The events brought together representatives of government institutions and business communities from both countries.
Ojar Asiya, Turkmenistan's largest construction company and an active member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, participated in the forum and exhibition, presenting its project for the construction of the Sarakhs–Mary–Serhetabat high-speed highway. The project is aimed at developing Turkmenistan's modern transport infrastructure and strengthening the country's role as a key transit hub connecting Asia and Europe.
Special attention during the forum was given to the expansion of transport and logistics cooperation, including the Middle Corridor and the Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan–Georgia–Romania multimodal transport route. In this context, the project presented by Ojar Asiya aligns with Turkmenistan's strategic vision for the development of international transport corridors and has the potential to further integrate the country into regional logistics networks, including the Lapis Lazuli Corridor, North–South and East–West Corridors.
Ojar Asiya's participation in the exhibition and business forum provided an important platform for showcasing the company's infrastructure capabilities, establishing new business contacts, and discussing opportunities for international cooperation in the fields of construction, transport and logistics.
