Relations between Turkmenistan and China continue to develop dynamically and productively. Recent initiatives demonstrate both countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation across all spheres.

Citizens of Turkmenistan can now obtain short-term visas to China without providing fingerprints until the end of 2026, facilitating business trips, tourism, and exchange of expertise. Biometric requirements remain in place for long-term visas.

In addition, China has donated 190 books and educational materials to the International University of Humanities and Development, opening new opportunities for student exchanges, master’s, and doctoral studies. These steps underscore the two countries’ dedication to mutually beneficial cooperation and cultural exchange.
